Trek to Goecha La pass is a highest mountain pass one can reach in the Sikkim Himalaya. Goecha la pass is situated at the elevation of approx. 5000m from where one can witness the best south-east face view of mighty Kanchendzonga - the world's third highest mountain of the world.
There are various possibilty to do the Goecha la trek, the shortest way to complete the trek would be starting from Yuksom village and track back the same way which can be little boring unless you don't have time or don't want to walk for a longer period of time. The trek can be completed within 7 days.
If you have little more time and want to explore more or need more challenging routes then you can try either Singalila trek which is about 16 days of walk or by adding 3 more days on your schedule and do the Kasturi trek . These two itineraries just not allow you to explore the mountains but also introduce you to the Sikkimese culture.
